Neon Black is a Chicago based hard rock band that combines powerful riffs with soulful melodies to create a fresh new sound in rock. Made up of four talented and unique individuals, Neon Black strives to create music that has power and substance, while keeping true to their rock and roll roots. Formed in 1999 by Paul Calcano and Pete Tebar, the band went through various lineup changes before landing new members, Mark Alexander and Michael Todd. These four musicians have come together with the sole purpose of putting hard rock back on the map, and re - energizing the music world. From the opening chords of "Infection", one realizes that Neon Black is not your typical rock band. With an eclectic mix of influences, the band is able to craft songs that rely on musicianship and power, allowing them to take their tunes to another level. Whether its the soulful vocals, melodic guitars, or the precision rhythm section, Neon Black leaves no stone unturned when it comes to their music.
Armed with a playlist of over twenty original compositions, the band has begun playing live venues around Chicago and Northwest Indiana, and has just released their self titled debut EP.
