Quickly building a following, this band is poised to invade the rest of the music world with their original sound. Blending elements of goth-rock, hardcore metal, industrial, and glam-rock, Exhibit A is in a class all by themselves. Exhibit A was formed by Rory (guitars) and Siin (bass) to combat the already existing waves of nu-metal and indie rock bands sweeping the nation. They desired to create an original sound that had been unheard of until now. For this they recruited Andrew (drums). With the formation of the music section completed, they began the search for a voice that could sing down the stars as well as embody all of the anguish within the modern world. They found Jeremy (vocals). Now with the lineup complete, they began to compose music.
After playing Rockhouse USA and O’Malley’s in Aurora, Exhibit A began to record their first EP. Upon returning to the music scene after recording, Exhibit A sold out a show with Dominion at the Rockhouse USA. The success of this quickly earned them radio play on 89.1 FM. More show opportunities followed in the wake of these events that included; 602 North, Penny Road Pub, Champs in Burbank.
A chance online encounter brought forth the newest addition to Exhibit A, Eric(guitars). The addition of this fifth member added new depth and dimension to the already diverse sound.
Exhibit A has formulated major plans for the spring and summer of 2003. These events include shows at Oasis 160 in Chicago Heights, Martyr’s in Chicago, Dungeon Club in DeKalb. They are also being featured at Club Fuel in Daytona Beach Florida as part of an all day showcase of the best unsigned talent from all over the nation.
