Exploding onto the Chicago hard rock scene in the bleakness of winter 2001, Born Against Time has bent the rules of engagement by achieving within months what takes many bands years. After completing the lineup in August 2001 a volatile chemistry became apparent, producing energy in rehearsal similar to what the band exhibits in performances. Fueling the mix with prolific songwriting (all members are composers in their own right) and harsh life experiences to inspire their art, Born Against Time is driven past the borders of complacency, spilling into the public eye through sheer necessity for expansion. Securing management and financial backing through start-up independent label Rabies Records, the band has embarked on a partnership built for success. Their debut album, “Title Not Available” recorded at Paragon Recording Studio (Styx, Q101) and released by Rabies Records in late spring 2002 heralding the band’s emergence as a major contender.
