After Rinat relocated from Israel to Los Angeles. Rinat and Steve begin experimenting musically and exploring the Los Angeles scene, they both decided to move to their adopted city of Chicago to form ALONE with Bryan West. The band's current lineup reflects the culmination of their vision.
Recently the band has made a lot of noise locally, regionally and nationally through the Internet. Alone has built a 1,400 person (and still growing) national street team aka: STREET DAWGS as well as over 74,000 hits on www.alonemusic.com in less then a year. Alone also was Streetwise Concept and Cultures (www.streetwise.com) HOTBAND for the month of Sept. '01. Alone has also recieved over 18,000 plays on mp3.com in a little over 5 months. Alone is the #1 Most downloaded unsigned band @ one the internets, biggest online promotion sites www.bandbitch.com. Alone thrives from their fan interaction and will continue to expand their fanbase at any cost..
Alone has shared the stage with national acts such as: Soil, Fear Factory, Switched, Hinged AD Buckcherry, Kittie, Primer55, Mudvayne, From Zero, Caroline Spine, Econoline Crush, 3 Doors Down, Hatebreed, UPO, Factory 81, Downset, Relative Ash to name a few; as well as playing at the major Chicago clubs (like Metro, House of Blues.) in sold out shows. Alone has also been added to the play list of numerous college, active rock, and Internet radio stations and received many good reviews from their 2 song sampler.
